Kirkbymoorside is a small market town in Ryedale
.It is just south of the North
York Moors National Park ( see

The town is full of musical talent. The primary
school choir sing beautifully; the band
do well in competitions; the Baroque Orchestra perform twice a year.
The town churches are well attended and this is reflected in the caring community spirit.
